Italy...a country of dreams.

My favourite country to visit is Italy, because this country is the most important artistic and cultural center in the World. The country I would like to visit is Italy because I think is a beautiful and magic place. As well Italy had a considerable art history with a famous artist, such as Miguel Angel. In Italy art is everywhere, just like love is in France.

I know about Italy some things such as the beautiful Toscana, the wonderful "Sixtina Charpel", the "Roman Coliseum", and the "Pisa tower". Also I know that Italy is famous for here Mediterranean gastronomy: the pizza, pasta, risotto, polenta and wine. In politics, Italy was famous for the Mussolini dictatorship and the Berlusconi scandal.

If I travel to Italy I would like to visit the Vatican and Toscana. I would like to eat pasta, pizza and cannelloni in a "Trattoria". Also I would enjoy the art, music and the opera. I would also like to know the schools and their teaching methods. Then I could implement these methods in Chilean schools.

Also I like the art world and this country is a great exponent. I think thay Italy is a very quiet and also motivating country. 

I wouldn’t like to work, study or live in Italy, because I want to live in my country always and I love the Chilean art. But, I also love the Italian art. I would study art in Italy and I would work in Florence sometime. But, I prefer to live in my country. 

 

 

Criminal Laws

I think that Capital punishment isn´t a good solution to reduce criminality, because we are not people to judge. Only God can judge us. I think that it is better to train criminals for a special area, and they will be able to insert themselves in the laboral life, and they leave the bad accions.

The pros and cons in Capital punishment are:

Pros:

- The criminal never come back to hurt somebody.

- The families affected have a rest and consolation.

Cons:

- We are not people to judge to other people, because we are human, and we make mistakes.

- The families of a criminals will sufer very much.

The government should give more laboral possibilities to reduce criminality rates in Santiago, because the people wouldn´t need to cheat or steal anything, because they have their own money.

The origin of the increasing criminality rates in Chile are the financial and economical inequalities, because the people in too many occasions don´t have the sufficient adquisitive power to get things. And in this time, this power moves the entire world.

I have been a victim of burglary pick pocketing many times, and this makes me angry. Also, in one opportunity a gypsy stole me $10.000!!  It is a fraud, because she said to me that my family doesn´t love me, and the world is bad, and a lot of nosenses!

Anyway, I think that having another way to resolve the social problems in a good way…

Paulo Freire.

He was born in Recife, Brasil in september of 1921. He was a Brazilian educator and influential theorist of education. Freire enrolled at the University of Recife in 1943, the Faculty of Law, where he studied philosophy and psychology of language at the same time. He was appointed director of the Department of Cultural Extension of Recife University (1961), and he took the first opportunity to apply their theories in a meaningful way when he teached to read and write to poor persons (1962), because he thought than the education was very important for the people. In 1969, was offered the post of visiting professor at Harvard University in 1969. In Chile, Freire worked during five years for the Christian Democratic Movement for Agrarian Reform and the Organization for Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Freire published a series of book, that contributed to the education, for the most importants were;"Education as practice of freedom" (1967) and "Pedagogy of the Oppressed" (1970) I like Paulo Freire, because he was a teacher committed with the vulnerable people and for her multiple contributions to the education.

This is a last year photograph, when we made the “secret friend” and we made many beautiful presents. This was the last day of classes of the past year. We stayed all afternoon in the park of the university; we talked and laughed a lot, we were very happy that day. My secret friend “Valeria” gave me a box with chocolates, and she had done everything! It was very nice and very delicious!. Other partner of course “Yaritza” gave me one shirt; and Yaritza made this shirt! It´s very beautiful! In the photograph isn´t all my partners of course, because some couldn´t go that day. Challenges in my Discipline!!

Currently, in my discipline has different challenges connected to each of the following areas: Technology, Social Matters and Education. Technology; In education there are more and more challenges in the classroom, because the kids now have others requirements faced to cyber space, the kids enjoy the cyber games, the web pages of Messenger or comunication in general. Like this, the teacher must be revitalized, and must learn about cyber space to innovate our class using TIC´S (Tecnology and information of Comunication). Social Matters; This carrer is conected with this issues very much, because we have the possibility of going to a professional practice starting from the first year, and get aquantied with the school reality, the true challenge is to help of each kid, and trust in them. Education; The challenge in this point is to improve the quality education, and work for that!

My cell phone!!

I´m not a fan of the technology, but this helps me in my daily life. The technology is present in different areas of my life; social life, work, studies, etc. Now, if I were to choose my favorite piece of technology, I choose my cell phone. I have a normal cell phone, not prehistoric, but neither of latest model. My cell phone was a gift for my birthday, of my friend, her name is Constanza. I have it three months ago. I used my cell phone it daily and I occupied it for different functions: I can make and receive telephone calls, I can send and receive text messages, I see pictures, I play games, I listen to music. I also use it as an alarm, phone book, clock, etc.. But above all, I like my phone because I can communicate with my loved ones far away. My cell phone is not essential to my life, but helps me in my daily life.

Soda Stereo

My favorite band is called Soda Stereo. I started to listen because my brother and my aunt liked, and then started liking me because I heard the song "Treat Me Gently" and "Nothing Personal". The band formed in 1982 but I knew his songs in 2001. Soda Stereo was a rock band from Argentina, one of the mostinfluential and important in Latin America in general. They werepowerful trio of Gustavo Cerati on vocals and guitar, Hector "Zeta"Bosio on bass and drummer Charly Alberti. In 1997, the band broke up, personal problems and projects that the members wanted to doseparately. In 2007 the band meets again to make the final farewell world tour. I could never go to a concert of this band, I've only seen their videos and I love it. I love this band because their music and the lyrics are really good. I never get bored of listening and I especially like Gustavo Cerati, is very handsome. Usually I like to listen romantic music but Soda Stereo is one of the few rock bands I consider great. I think the lyrics of their songs have a romantic side too. The song I like is "treat me gently." A couple of years in a coma Gustavo Cerati, which is very sad for the world of Latin rock. I think it's a huge loss to the music world. We love you Cerati, your are the best!
